CHELMSFORD: Momentum Proteas duo Marizanne Kapp and Tumi Sekhukhune will miss the entire three-match T20 International series (T20I) against England which began today, with Sekhukhune having sustained a recurrent right groin injury while Kapp returns home for family reasons.
The 23-year old Sekhukhune experienced discomfort during the warm-ups ahead of the third and final One-Day International (ODI) against England on Monday and after being assessed by the team’s medical staff, it was agreed she will be sent home to begin her rehabilitation.
Meanwhile, star all-rounder Kapp has requested to travel back home to Gqeberha to be close to her family during this trying time.
