KwaZulu-Natal Inland Cricket Union and AET Tuskers held its Annual Awards Banquet at a glittering function in the city of Pietermaritzburg to celebrate their achievements.

The AET Tuskers have gained promotion to Division 1 and the union handed out plenty of awards to players and others attached to the regional body at different levels, with the help of city mayor Mzimkhulu Thebolla.

Kyle Nipper was named the Tusker’s 1-Day Player of Year, Tian Koekemoer was the 1-Day Players Player of the Year and Stefan Tait was honoured as 4-Day Players Player of the Year and Player of the Year.

Team skipper, Michael Erlank also received a couple of awards while the KZN Inland President’s Award went to Michael Buckley for “outstanding service to cricket” from his base at Lancashire Cricket Club.
