Cricket South Africa (CSA) has learnt with sadness of the passing last week of award winning journalist Moabi Litheko who served as the UCBSA spokesperson until joining the Proteas as their Media Manager during the period 2002 to early 2006.

He subsequently returned to the SABC where he continued an outstanding career in Media.

“We have very fond memories of the time Moabi spent as part of the CSA family,” commented CSA Acting Chief Executive Pholetsi Moseki, “and we are grateful for the work he did to project the Proteas positively in the media.

“On behalf of the CSA family I extend our condolences to his family, his friends and his colleagues at the SABC.”
