The Interim Board of Cricket South Africa (CSA) is pleased to announce that it has finalised all the necessary requirements to hold a Special General Meeting (SGM) on Saturday, 17 April 2021 at 15h00.

Given the urgency of the situation, legal advice was sought regarding waiver of the usual notice period for an SGM. Following a Members’ Council round robin resolution earlier today, the members have indicated that they will condone the defective notice.

The business of the meeting will be limited to the amendment of CSA’s Memorandum of Incorporation (MOI). The MOI, together with the notice of the meeting, will be circulated to the Members’ Council via its Acting President.

The Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture, Mr Nathi Mthethwa, Chair of the Interim Board, Dr Stavros Nicolaou, together with CSA Acting President Mr. Rihan Richards, will all deliver a short address at the SGM, which will be open to all media.
