KwaZulu-Natal Inland Cricket Union are happy to announce Pietermaritzburg-based firm VHA Accounting Solutions as the new sponsors of KZN Inland T20 Premier League. KZN Inland and the company signed a one-year agreement that will see the Midlands league being called the VHA Accounting Premier T20.
KZN Inland Cricket Services Manager Jason Sathiaseelan said they are delighted with this injection in club cricket in their terrain. “We wish to thank Mr Vidyanth Bhola and his VHA Accounting team for their kind gesture. It is so nice to have local businesses get involved in community activities,” Sathiaseelan said.
“This sponsorship will ensure a competitive T20 competition. As part of the sponsorship, the staff from VHA Accounting attended the draw to place teams into two groups.”
Vidyanth Bhola of VHA Accounting Solutions said they are hoping this partnership will help fast track development of cricket in the region. “I think for us it’s about equality and we know how difficult it is to find a sponsor for sport, especially currently as the country is still battling Covid-19,” said Bhola.
“So, we are really hoping this partnership will give opportunities to a lot of people who really love the sport and that it will help with the development of the sport.”
The VHA Accounting Premier T20 has a total of nine clubs fighting for the title. Those clubs are Varsity CC, Howick CC, Young Natalians CC, Masibemunye CC, Greytown CC, Lancashire CC, Standard CC, MCC and Zingari CC.
