We are looking for experienced professionals in Finance and Safeguarding to fill two vacancies for voluntary Non-Executive Director roles on our board.
The Board is presently looking to recruit two Non-Executive Directors who can help support the mission of the organisation, take collective responsibility for strategic oversight, and uphold the values and culture of Cumbria Cricket Ltd.
The Board is seeking appropriately skilled people who have experience in Finance and Safeguarding.
These positions are non-salaried, but all associated expenses are paid.
Non-Executive Directors are expected to attend a minimum of four and maximum of six board meetings, as well as any appropriate sub-committees and undergo relevant training. Directors will be required to keep up to date with developments and must read any circulated documents.
Board meetings comprise a mix of Teams and face-to-face meetings, the latter taking place at cricket clubs throughout the county.
Becoming a Non-Executive Director is a great way of having a direct impact on the growth of cricket in our county, allowing you to use your professional skillset to develop our game and inspire generations of Cumbrians to say ‘cricket is a game for me’.
