NB: I get along with all of my teammates in any setup. I really can’t give names.
Q: What keeps you motivated to keep playing the sport at a high level?
NB: My family, friends and anyone who supports West Indies cricket keep me motivated.
Q: How’s bubble life?
NB: Bubble life has its ups and downs. Obviously, you can’t see family, but it helps me to remain ultra-focused in the task at hand.
Q: What does West Indies cricket mean to you?
NB: West Indies Cricket means the world to me. It has been my dream to play for the West Indies since I was a toddler and every time, I have been able to do so, a profound feeling has taken over my body.
Q: Which players outside of the West Indies motivate you?
NB: Everyone who plays cricket internationally motivates me. It is an amazing feat. Thinking about what they probably each went through keeps me motivated.
Q: What do you want to say to the fans who keep rallying, even though they are unable to be in the stands?
NB: Hopefully, the Maroon Fans can keep rallying around the team. I want to say a huge thanks for all the support. I remember how hard it used to be for us to stay up and watch the team, having work or school the next morning. We really appreciate that, along with all the positive messages we get directly and through the social media platforms.
