Cricket West Indies (CWI) governs cricket across the West Indies, a confederation of Caribbean countries. Originally established as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control in the 1920s, it became the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996 and was rebranded as Cricket West Indies in May 2017 as part of a restructuring effort.

Karishma Ramharack shared details about her background and journey in cricket, starting with her introduction to the sport by two uncles who helped her climb the ranks from playing in Trinidad to joining the West Indies team. She attributes much of her success to her family’s support.

Ramharack has also formed a close relationship with former captain Stafanie Taylor, which has helped her develop her skills and handle the pressures of professional cricket.

In an effort to inspire other young girls, Ramharack encourages them to pursue their dreams of becoming professional athletes, citing her own experience of becoming interested in cricket through practice sessions with her uncle.
