Cricket West Indies (CWI) governs cricket across the West Indies, a confederation of Caribbean countries. Originally established as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control in the 1920s, it became the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996 and was rebranded as Cricket West Indies in May 2017 as part of a restructuring effort.

Captain Hayley Matthews, Vice Captain Shemaine Campbelle, and Stafanie Taylor all produced with the bat as West Indies won the series decider with just one ball remaining.

Chasing 142 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium, Campbelle saw out the innings with an unbeaten 41 from 30 balls while Matthews and Taylor pitched in with 49 off 40 and 33 off 30 respectively.

Campbelle earned player of the match honors as she smashed 3 fours and 2 sixes in a show of class.
