CWI: Reduced ticket prices for final day of 1st Apex Test in Antigua

Cricket West Indies (CWI) governs cricket across the West Indies, a confederation of Caribbean countries. Originally established as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control in the 1920s, it became the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996 and was rebranded as Cricket West Indies in May 2017 as part of a restructuring effort.

It’s “Game On” for the final day of the first Apex Test between West Indies and England with an intriguing finale set with all three results still possible. Ticket prices will be just EC$25/US$10 for local fans to any seat in the stadium, with children and senior citizen tickets further reduced to just EC$10/US$5, as part of CWI’s efforts to provide affordable tickets following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. For all other fans, ticket in any part of the stadium will be just EC$55/US$20.

West Indies fans will have the opportunity to rally behind the #MeninMaroon on Saturday as they push for a 1st Apex Test match victory . The final day awaits West Indies being set a victory target by England at some stage, which could lead to a thrilling run chase to conclude the Test match.

Tickets will be available for immediate purchase straight to a mobile device via the new WINDIES TICKETS service https://www.windiescricket.com/tickets/. Fans can purchase tickets through the stadium ticket office located at the main entrance to the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

Fans are reminded that only those fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be allowed into the venue and will be required to bring their vaccination documentation with them to be assured of entry. Fans will need to make sure they are fully vaccinated at least two weeks ahead of the day’s play.
