Cricket West Indies (CWI) governs cricket across the West Indies, a confederation of Caribbean countries. Originally established as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control in the 1920s, it became the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996 and was rebranded as Cricket West Indies in May 2017 as part of a restructuring effort.

Andre Russell: Cricket’s Super Hero

Armed and “danger-russ”, Superman returned to his Maroon cape earlier this year during the Sri Lanka vs West Indies T20I series in typical Dre Russ fashion.

Just months before, Russell was down but not out as he had successful undergone surgery on his left knee.

But thankfully he’s back. Back and reloaded!

As we anticipate an unleashing of his pent up armoury of sixes in the 2020 edition of the Caribbean Premier League, let’s take a look back at what happens when Dre Russ is fueled and fired up at the crease!
