Cricket West Indies (CWI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today announced the West Indies will play three One-Day Internationals in Rawalpindi from June, 2022. The matches will be played at the Pindi Cricket Stadium. The West Indies will arrive on June 5 for the three matches that will be played on June 8, 10 and 12.
The ODIs were part of the West Indies’ tour of Pakistan in December 2021. These were rescheduled after COVID-19 cases were reported in the West Indies camp. The West Indies have also agreed to play three T20Is in early 2023, schedule of which will be announced in due course.
These upcoming ODI Series forms part of the ICC ODI Super League, where teams will have the opportunity to secure points to try and secure one of the top seven places, excluding hosts India, to gain automatic qualification for the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
