PURPOSE

Cricket’s ambition is to become the most inclusive sport in England & Wales. As the national governing body, we know that we must do more and this role will be an essential part of achieving that ambition. As part of the ECB’s EDI team reporting into the EDI Engagement and Education Lead, you’ll be supporting the education of people at all levels from recreational to elite, working alongside over 60 cricket organisations (‘the game’) to deliver our EDI education strategy.

YOU’LL BE DOING

This is a varied role which will require significant collaboration with other teams to ensure we stay connected and work together to deliver the game’s EDI education strategy:

  • Supporting the ongoing development and delivery of the ECB’s EDI training plan and comms campaigns for the game
  • Supporting EDI leads across the game, acting as a coordinator and knowledge hub
  • Building relationships with our education suppliers to help them deliver high quality EDI education.
  • Managing learning administration e.g. scheduling, budgeting, communications.
  • Monitoring and reporting on EDI education and campaign initiatives to demonstrate their impact.

YOU’LL HAVE

  • Clear enthusiasm, knowledge, and passion for equity, diversity, and inclusion that you use to deliver great results.
  • A basic understanding of key EDI topics, and a desire to continue learning and developing.
  • Proven experience coordinating delivery of programmes and events, both virtually and in person.
  • Ability to prioritise across multiple projects and pieces of work.
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, at different seniority levels, and comfortable working across the complex map of cricket organisations.
  • Good communications skills
  • An ability to measure effectiveness and impact of projects ideally educational and/or training related
