We’re introducing this exciting role to support on the event presentation delivery, ensuring that the spectator is at the heart of every matchday experience.
In 2021, ECB is introducing The Hundred, which will be a world class cricket tournament for both the men’s and women’s game designed to broaden the appeal of the sport. This will be the highest profile new sports event to launch in the UK for many years and will receive extensive media coverage, with games live on Sky Sports and BBC. In addition, there is a packed International schedule which will require a similar level of focus to ensure the event presentation is at the heart of the event.

YOU’LL BE DOING
- Supporting overall strategy and successful delivery of event presentation, primarily focused on The Hundred but also across the International white ball fixtures.
- Building exceptional relationships with venue staff and stakeholders to deliver match day requirements.
- Working closely with the Senior Event Presentation manager and Commercial Partners to ensure sponsor activation is aligned to the Event presentation.
- Working closely with both the Senior Event Presentation manager and Senior broadcast manager to ensure event presentation is integrated into the broadcasters’ production schedules.
- Supporting the Senior Event Presentation manager in managing the appointed event presentation agency and other suppliers to design and deliver event presentation.
- Attending regular venue meetings with the event presentation agency.
- Supporting all team members to plan and deliver this world-leading spectator journey.
YOU’LL HAVE
- Excellent people skills, to communicate effectively with people at all levels, including, Broadcasters, commercial partners, and ECB teams.
- Extensive experience in ‘live’ match day presentation delivery of sporting events.
- Experience of event delivery in a live broadcast environment.
- Clear and effective decision-making skills.
- Good media, marketing, and commercial acumen.
- Excellent negotiation and mediation skills, with the ability to manage high pressure situations.
- A proven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility, and good humour within a team.
- An understanding of the game of cricket is desirable.
