YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Leading on performance analysis strategy and resourcing for the England men’s teams and pathway (Lions and Young Lions).
  • Line managing members of the performance analysis department.
  • Ensuring that standard operating procedures are in place to support the planning and review of all matches, series and competitions.
  • Growing the department’s capability to deliver live in-game analysis and impact.
  • Ensuring that player identification, selection and assessment is objectively and critically informed.
  • Ensuring that coaching and programming is objectively and critically informed.
  • Leading the co-ordination across ECB Data, Digital and IT departments to ensure optimal performance analysis provision and service is maintained at all times.
  • Manage relationships and agreements with all consultants and data/service providers to ensure optimal performance analysis provision and service is maintained at all times.
  • Working through the network of county stakeholders and utilising the County Partnership Agreement, overseeing performance analysis strategy and delivery across the entire men’s domestic game.
  • Overseeing all department studies and projects, ensuring that collaborative relationships with external partners are maintained.
  • Fulfilling the role of England team analyst as and when required at home and overseas.

YOU’LL HAVE

  • Extensive experience and demonstrable achievements as a performance analyst in elite sport.
  • High performance leadership experience and skills.
  • In depth understanding of international cricket, performance analysis, software and data/video resources and data/digital infrastructure.
  • Exceptional relationship and stakeholder management skills to engage external partners, players, coaches and management team members.
  • The capability to travel (UK and overseas) extensively, as required.
