The Specialist Coach Developer is responsible for delivering and facilitating on the L4 Specialist Coach Programme, along with providing support and CPD training for coaches beyond certification. Furthermore, the role holder will also support the Interim Head of Coach Development in providing support and training to coaches working with England Teams when required.
This role will have a direct impact upon coaches operating within the talent pathway and performance sectors, helping them to coach highly talented players more effectively.

YOU’LL BE DOING
- Assisting with selection and management of L4 Specialist Coach Programme applications
- Supporting the Interim Head of Coach Development through facilitation and delivery on the L4 Specialist Coach Programme
- Assisting with L4 Specialist Coach Programme assessments
- Providing post-course support to certified Specialist coaches
- Facilitating and delivering on CPD modules
- Supporting the Interim Head of Coach Development in the delivery of training for coach developers
- Supporting the Interim Head of Coach Development by carrying out reviews and updates of programmes and CPD
- Working with the Operations Lead and other support to deliver other coaching events
- Contributing to the leadership, strategic direction and management of the coaching department
YOU’LL HAVE
- An ECB L4 or Specialist Coach certificate
- Expertise in talent pathway and performance cricket coaching
- Experience of professional and international coaching environments
- The ability to support professional and international coaches
- A good understanding of learning transfer, plus the effects of pressure and effective coping strategies
- Exceptional people skills
- Excellent presenting and facilitation skills
- Strong networking skills
- The confidence, robustness and skill to present to groups of experienced and professional and international coaches
- The ability to organise coaches, presenters and facilities to create effective learning environments
- The capability to deliver hard feedback on an individual basis
- A current DBS certificate
- A full UK driving license and be willing to extensively travel throughout England & Wales
