Are you a passionate HR professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and exciting environment? We’re seeking a dedicated Head of People to join our team at Lancashire Cricket Club.

Your Role:

As Head of People, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our HR function and ensuring a positive and supportive workplace for our employees. Your responsibilities will include:

• Employee Relations: Managing employee relations matters, providing advice, and driving engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Learning & Development: Developing and managing training programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
• Team Development: Build, lead and mentor your HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Policies & Procedures: Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures and providing support to line managers.
• Employee Engagement: Organising and managing employee engagement activities and surveys to foster a positive work environment.
• Recruitment & Staffing: Overseeing the recruitment process and managing the company’s applicant tracking system.
• Safeguarding: Working with the Safeguarding Manager & Director of Cricket to ensure compliance with safeguarding regulations.
• Payroll: Leading the Payroll Manager and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Administration: Managing HR budgets, completing reports, and handling administrative tasks.

Your Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• A CIPD Level 5 qualification or above.
• Previous experience in HR management with people management responsibility.
• Payroll management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A collaborative and approachable attitude.
