Star Sports Network and Disney+ Hotstar, prominent sports broadcasters in India, will air the ODI and T20I series of England’s upcoming tour of India.

This announcement follows the Reliance-Disney merger, which has strengthened their position in India’s media and entertainment industry. The merger enhances the platform’s reach and accessibility to sports content, offering viewers an improved cricket viewing experience with seamless broadcasts.

The five-match T20I series begins on January 22 at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, followed by games on January 25 at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium, January 28 at Rajkot’s Niranjan Shah Stadium, and the final two matches on January 31 and February 2 at Pune’s Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium and Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, respectively.

The ODI series kicks off on February 6 at Nagpur’s VCA Stadium. The second ODI will be played on February 9 at Cuttack’s Barabati Stadium, with the final match scheduled for February 12 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

This series holds additional significance as it precedes the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, offering both teams an opportunity to refine their game plans ahead of the prestigious tournament.

India’s spin-friendly pitches and England’s aggressive batting lineup set the stage for an exciting and competitive cricket series.
