Joining previously announced speakers Anil Kumble and Shane Watson are former Indian international spinner Murali Kartik, and legendary West Indies fast bowlers Courtney Walsh and Sir Curtly Ambrose.

Cricket legends unite ahead of historic MLC opener
Originally billed as a conversation with Kumble and Watson, the expanded lineup now offers fans and business leaders a rare chance to hear from five of the game’s greats, representing India, Australia, and the West Indies.
Murali Kartik, a brilliant left-arm spinner with experience across all formats and global leagues, brings further depth to the conversation around modern cricket’s evolution.
Courtney Walsh and Sir Curtly Ambrose—two of the most dominant fast bowlers in cricket history, with over 1,300 international wickets between them—add a fresh dimension to the event, offering perspectives on leadership, resilience, and the global appeal of the game.
“This is a once-in-a-generation moment for cricket,” event organizer Adam Hall or AMHC said in announcing the expanded lineup.
“Two of the greatest fast bowlers in history are joining us in Oakland. With legends like Walsh, Ambrose, Kartik, Kumble, and Watson together on stage, this is a celebration of cricket’s past, present, and future.”
