The World Championship of Legends (WCL), which debuted as the second most-watched cricket league in its inaugural season, has officially announced its second edition.

Season 2 will run from July 18 to August 2, 2025, offering an extended schedule, top-tier players, and new venues. Legendary cricketers from six nations—India, Pakistan, England, Australia, South Africa, and the West Indies—will once again compete, culminating in an electrifying grand final.

The tournament opens on July 18 with a match between England’s Champions and Pakistan’s Champions at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham. The much-anticipated India-Pakistan clash will follow on July 20 at the same venue. The semi-finals on July 31 and the grand final on August 2 will also be held at Edgbaston, with the full list of venues to be revealed soon.

WCL CEO Harshit Tomar stated, “WCL Season 1 delivered an incredible fan experience, and we are committed to making Season 2 even better. Our focus remains on creating unforgettable moments for viewers across the globe.”

Ajay Devgn, co-owner of WCL, added, “I am happy to see larger associations and the league getting bigger and better every year. We truly believe Season 2 will also claim the highest viewership across the globe. Stay tuned as many exciting announcements about the league are in the offing.”

Building on the success of its first season, the second edition aims to deliver a perfect blend of skill, experience, and fierce competition, ensuring memorable moments for cricket fans worldwide.
