The Hobart Hurricanes are an Australian professional men's Twenty20 cricket team based in Hobart, Tasmania. Competing in the Big Bash League, they primarily play at Blundstone Arena and also host some matches at University of Tasmania Stadium in Launceston. The team wears a purple uniform.

Monday’s scheduled clash between the Perth Scorchers and Hobart Hurricanes at Optus Stadium in Perth has been relocated, and will now be played at Blundstone Arena.

This clash is one of five remaining KFC BBL|11 matches scheduled to be played at Optus Stadium that has been will be relocated to alternate venues, with the decision to relocate the matches been taken due to state border controls and how they apply to entry into Western Australia.

All teams would have travelled through New South Wales or Victoria within 14 days prior to the matches and will be unable to enter Western Australia due to their classification as extreme risk jurisdictions.

The League and Clubs will continue to prioritise the health and safety of players, staff, match officials, fans and the wider community during the KFC BBL|11 season.Monday’s match will have an unchanged start time of 7.15pm AEDT, with tickets to go on sale tomorrow, Friday 17 December at 2.00pm AEDT, via.Ticketek.

Membership access to this match will be the same as a regular home game for Hurricanes members.
