The Hobart Hurricanes are delighted to announce that Wilson Security has signed on as the club’s Official Security Partner for a further two years.
Having already been a member of the Hurricanes partnership family for six years – with their branding emblazoned on the Hurricanes’ BBL team headwear – from this year the headwear branding will be extended to the Hurricanes’ WBBL team as well.
Wilson Security branding will be visible throughout all Hurricanes match days on player headwear (playing hats, training caps and helmets) as well as on signage surrounding the Hurricanes’ team dugouts.
General Manager of the Hobart Hurricanes, Scott Barnes, said it was fantastic to secure the extension of another long-term partnership.
“Wilson Security has been a part of the Hurricanes family for a long time now, and so we’re thrilled to have this relationship continue.
“For Wilson Security to opt to not only extend their deal but to expand it to see their assets used across the Weber WBBL as well, it shows the trust they have in what our team is doing to grow and solidify the Hurricanes brand both on and off the field.”
Chief Executive Officer of Wilson Security, Nick Frangoulis, said the business was proud to expand its long-term partnership with the Hobart Hurricanes to include the Hurricanes’ WBBL team.
“In line with our commitment to diversity and inclusion, Wilson Security is delighted to support both women and men in their sporting careers, and to encourage the growth of women’s sport.
“For Wilson Security, this partnership is much bigger than cricket – it’s about investment in the local community. We look forward to strengthening our alignment with the Hurricanes as well as continuing to work on our joint vision to engage communities, our employees, members, and fans into 2022.”
