The International Cricket Council (ICC) will open a sub-office in Lahore this month to oversee preparations for the upcoming Champions Trophy. The sub-office will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of the tournament, which will be hosted by Pakistan.
Sameer Ahmed Syed, the Chief Operating Officer of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has been appointed as the Tournament Director for the Champions Trophy and will be responsible for managing the event’s organisation and execution.
Additionally, the PCB is scheduled to hold an important meeting on Saturday to discuss key developments related to the Champions Trophy and other cricketing matters.
