The ICC has officially released the schedule for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, set to begin on 30 September in India. Hosts India will launch the tournament against Sri Lanka at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, with the final scheduled for 2 November.
India to kick off World Cup in Bengaluru
India vs. Sri Lanka will mark the opening match on 30 September at 15:00 IST. Defending champions Australia will begin their campaign the next day in Indore against New Zealand.
Round-robin format and semi-final structure
The tournament will follow a round-robin format, with the top four teams qualifying for the semi-finals on 29 and 30 October. The final will be held on 2 November in either Colombo or Bengaluru.
