I will be joining Islamabad United in a new role this year. As a player, I have learnt a lot from playing in different leagues with different players, my aim will be to pass on that experience to younger players. Hassan Nawaz is an exciting young talent, I would love to work with him during our practice sessions, hopefully I would be able to share valuable experience with him. Other than that, it is always amazing to play with Islamabad United. From the owner to the management to of course the newly married captain Shadab Khan, everyone is extremely supportive. The team has a very clear identity in the style of cricket we want to play. I have learnt over the years that process is very important, even more so than results, Islamabad is a team that always follows the process.
