Karachi Kings announce partnership with VGO Tel for HBL PSL 9

Karachi Kings (KK) is a Pakistani Twenty20 cricket team competing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Based in Karachi, the team was established in 2015 by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and plays its home matches at the National Stadium.

Karachi Kings, the franchise representing the largest city in Pakistan, proudly announce a partnership with VGO Tel, a leading company in the sale of record number of mobile phones, for the upcoming HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9.

VGO Tel has become the official platinum mobile phone partner of Karachi Kings, solidifying their collaboration with a signed agreement between Karachi Kings’ owner, Salman Iqbal, and Veon Tel’s Chief Executive Officer, Naveed Gaba.

To mark this momentous occasion, Karachi Kings presented the official jersey for HBL PSL season 9 to VGO Tel, showcasing the synergy between the two entities. As a result of this partnership, the VGO Tel logo will adorn the chests of Karachi Kings’ players during matches.

Additionally, VGO Tel will introduce its latest mobile phone, the Note 24, featuring innovative features, through Karachi Kings’ platform, further enhancing the fan experience and technological advancement within the HBL PSL.

Karachi Kings and VGO Tel anticipate a successful collaboration, combining their expertise and resources to elevate the PSL experience for fans and players alike.

Former champions Karachi Kings will kick off their HBL PSL 9 campaign on February 18 in an away clash with last edition’s runners-up Multan Sultans at the picturesque Multan International Cricket Stadium.

The Kings will then travel to Lahore where they will take on Peshawar Zalmi and arch-rivals Lahore Qalandars on February 21 and 24 respectively.

Karachi Kings will play their first home match of PSL 9 against inaugural champions Islamabad United on February 28 before turning their attention towards 2019 champions Quetta Gladiators on the very next day (February 29).

Just like the previous editions of PSL, this edition will also take place in two legs.

In the replica of their campaign opener, the Kings will take Sultans this time at their home ground on March 3.

They will then travel to Rawalpindi where they will take on Quetta Gladiators and home side Islamabad United on March 6 and 7 respectively.

The Kings will then finally return to their home city, which is slated to host the most number of PSL 9 matches (11) including the Playoffs and the Final, and will play their remaining round matches when they take on arch-rivals Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi on March 9 and 11 at the National Bank Cricket Stadium.

  • February 18 – vs Multan Sultans in Multan
  • February 21 – vs Peshawar Zalmi in Lahore
  • February 24 – vs Lahore Qalandars in Lahore
  • February 28 – vs Islamabad United in Karachi
  • February 29 – vs Quetta Gladiators in Karachi
  • March 3 – vs Multan Sultans in Karachi
  • March 6 – vs Quetta Gladiators in Rawalpindi (Day match)
  • March 7 – vs Islamabad United in Rawalpindi
  • March 9 – vs Lahore Qalandars in Karachi
  • March 11 – vs Peshawar Zalmi in Karachi
