After losing a high-anticipated encounter against Lahore Qalandars on Sunday, Karachi Kings are eyeing revenge when both the teams will take on each other at National Stadium in Karachi.
The most awaited action returns to the city of lights for the last leg of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five. Kings will play all their remaining three matches in front of their home crowd.
The most followed franchise of PSL recently lost their winning form which they had in the middle of the tournament after winning back to back matches against Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi.
The opening duo of Kings, Babar Azam and Sharjeel Khan have been inconsistent collectively, however, explosive English opener Alex Hales has provided stability at the top-order. Alex will hold key once again as he has scored 239 runs at an average of 59.75, with the help of two half-centuries and is the leading run-scorer for Kings in the ongoing edition.
Wicket-keeper batsman Chadwick Walton will also hold importance for his cameos at the back end of the innings which he has been delivering with the bat consistently.
Kings will again heavily rely on Mohammad Amir, skipper Imad Wasim and Chris Jordan in the bowling department, however it will be interesting to see who will play in place of injured Aamer Yamin.
Qalandars, on the other hand, have picked the momentum at the right time by winning three consecutive matches that have led them to number three spot and are just one win away to qualify for the play-offs.
Ben Dunk, leading run-scorer for Qalandars will be key scalp for Kings but Imad is not focusing on only him as they have plans for all the players.
The high-anticipated encounter between the two teams will start at 7 pm.
