English batter James Vince, who is set to represent Karachi Kings in the upcoming eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), has landed in the country for the marquee event.

Foreign players continued to arrive in Pakistan in a bid to play for their respective franchises as the much anticipated PSL 8 began today with a curtain-raiser between defending champions Lahore Qalandars and home side Multan Sultans.

Meanwhile, English batter Vince, who led Gulf Giants to win the inaugural ILT20 title on Sunday, landed at Jinnah International Airport here a day later and will represent the 2020 PSL champions Kings in this year’s PSL.

Taking to Twitter, the most-followed franchise of PSL Karachi Kings, shared a picture of Vince’s arrival in the city.

“The wait is over! [Vince] has arrived in Karachi to join the [Kings Squad],” wrote Kings.

It is pertinent to mention here that the PSL 8 opener is underway between Sultans and Qalandars following a grand opening ceremony.

Karachi Kings, on the other hand, will play their first match on February 14 against Babar Azam-led Peshawar Zalmi at National Bank Cricket Arena here.
