ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 are proud to announce KidsCan as an official Charity Partner. 

“Our team believes in KidsCan’s kaupapa of creating a better future for tamariki,” said CWC 22 CEO Andrea Nelson.  

“We greatly admire KidsCan’s mahi to create a better New Zealand for all Kiwi kids by tackling poverty head on. One of our goals is leaving a legacy for the next generation – these aspirations go hand in hand, and we’re looking forward to working with KidsCan to make a difference for the future,” said Andrea Nelson.

KidsCan’s CEO and founder Julie Chapman said the charity was grateful to be chosen as an official partner. “We’re so excited to be part of this global event, which we know will make a huge difference to the children we support – support which is needed more than ever. 

“We see the power of sport for children living in hardship and having the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in their backyard will be hugely inspirational,” said Julie Chapman. 

KidsCan believes education gives a child the best opportunity to escape poverty and create a better future. The charity supports children in 854 schools and 112 early childhood centres with essentials including  food, clothing and health products. 

KidsCan Charity Partner activity throughout CWC 22 matches will focus on boosting awareness and donations to help KidsCan raise vital funds for New Zealand kids. 

KidsCan joins Women In Sport Aotearoa an official Charity Partner of CWC 22.
