- 12 members of the Qalandars squad including players and staff have arrived in Guyana to participate in the GSL.
- Overseas players Tabraiz Shamsi, Carlos Brathwaite, and Luke Wells join Pakistan’s Mirza Tahir Baig, Salman Mirza, Tayyab Abbas, and Arif Yaqoob.
- The remaining players and staff will arrive on 23 and 24 November 2024.
Members of Pakistan’s most popular cricket franchise, Lahore Qalandars, have begun arriving in Guyana for the inaugural ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League (GSL), scheduled to take place from 26 November to 6 December 2024. The team was warmly welcomed, with the Chairman of the Global Super League, Sir Clive Lloyd, personally extending his greetings to the Lahore Qalandars.
South African left-arm wrist-spinner Tabraiz Shamsi, West Indies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite, and England’s Luke Wells have already joined the Qalandars camp. The Pakistani players that have reached Guyana include Player Development Program graduates Mirza Tahir Baig, Salman Mirza, and Tayyab Abbas, along with Arif Yaqoob.
Head Coach Darren Gough, along with players Asif Afridi, Adam Rossington, Kaleem Sana-ur-Rehman, and Tom Abell, as well as Team Director Sameen Rana, are set to arrive on 23 November.
The final group of players, including Faheem Ashraf, Muhammad Akhlaq, and Muhammad Faizan, will join the squad on 24 November.
Lahore Qalandars will face the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the tournament opener on 27 November at 4 a.m. Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

- 30 November: Lahore Qalandars vs. Hampshire Hawks (7 p.m. PST)
- 4 December: Lahore Qalandars vs. Victoria (4 a.m. PST)
- 6 December: Lahore Qalandars vs. Rangpur Riders (4 a.m. PST)
