For youth and women’s cricket
Lotte Heerkens recently joined the KNCB. She is part of the ‘Participation’ team, in which she is responsible for youth cricket and women’s and girls’ cricket.
She takes over a number of tasks from Subir Shrestha, who now does more work for Topsport & Talent, and takes over a number of tasks from the departed Sean Trouw. For example, she will organize activities for (girls) youth and women, set up plans to stimulate women’s cricket and she is in contact with the RDOs, competition leader and project leader Cricket4KIDS and Cricket4YOU about current and planned initiatives. She will also guide and support the relevant KNCB committees.
Lotte Heerkens plays cricket at VRA, and is involved with the Amsterdam Cricket Academy. “I am really looking forward to working for the KNCB and to be able to combine my enthusiasm with my love for cricket!”
