Prime Video and Cognizant Major League Cricket (MLC) have teamed up to provide exclusive broadcast rights for the 2024 MLC season in Australia and New Zealand.
The season, scheduled from July 6 to July 29 local time (July 5 to July 28 in the USA), will include all 25 matches accessible at no extra charge to Prime or Prime Video members.
The second season of Major League Cricket (MLC) will feature top international T20 players and prominent domestic talents from six major US cities: Dallas, San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. Among the participating teams, eight Australian and five New Zealand players will be prominently represented.
Key signings for the upcoming season include:
- Australian Test and ODI captain Pat Cummins joins the San Francisco Unicorns alongside Josh Inglis, Jake Fraser-McGurk, and New Zealand’s Matt Henry.
- The Seattle Orcas have signed Kiwi batsman Michael Bracewell and bowler Lance Morris.
- Washington Freedom, coached by Ricky Ponting, features Australian stars Steve Smith, Travis Head, and Glenn Maxwell, along with New Zealand bowlers Rachin Ravindra and Lockie Ferguson.
- MI New York welcomes back Tim David and Trent Boult for their second season.
- Australian bowler Adam Zampa joins the Los Angeles Knight Riders.
