Oman Cricket (OC) has announced a partnership with Mazoon Dairy, naming it the official Grassroots and Nourishment Partner as well as Associate Sponsor of Oman’s national cricket teams.
The collaboration, formalized during a signing ceremony on November 24, 2024, reflects a mutual commitment to fostering athletic excellence, promoting community well-being, and advancing cricket in Oman.
Under the three-year agreement, Mazoon Dairy, Oman’s largest integrated dairy company, will support OC’s grassroots development programs. These initiatives currently engage over 850 young cricketers through the Academy and School Engagement Programs, which aim to inspire widespread participation in cricket across Oman.
The partnership is designed to expand grassroots cricket, providing opportunities for players from diverse backgrounds to hone their skills and passion for the sport.
Mazoon Dairy’s sponsorship also includes backing Oman’s national cricket teams. The agreement spans three years for the women’s and U19 men’s teams and one year for the men’s senior team, highlighting the growing trend of dairy brands investing in cricket to reach its vast global audience.
This announcement comes as Oman Cricket celebrates significant achievements, with the national team recently defeating the Netherlands and the UAE in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 tri-series. These victories showcased the team’s talent and resilience, adding momentum to the partnership.
Mazoon Dairy’s support will also enhance OC’s grassroots programs, including the U19 High-Performance Program, year-round Academy training, and leagues like the Junior League and Inter-Academy Junior League. By 2025, these initiatives are expected to engage around 1,600 participants.
At the signing ceremony, Nadia Al Hamzi, Marketing Director at Mazoon Dairy, highlighted the partnership’s shared values. She said:

The event was attended by OC Chairman Pankaj Khimji, senior OC officials, and representatives from Mazoon Dairy.
This strengthened partnership is set to propel Omani cricket forward, ensuring players receive the resources and nourishment needed to excel both on and off the field.
