MARYLEBONE CRICKET CLUB (MCC) HAS PARTNERED WITH ITS OFFICIAL FORMALWEAR SUPPLIER HAWES & CURTIS TO LAUNCH A LIMITED-EDITION CAPSULE COLLECTION FOR THE 2024 SUMMER OF CRICKET.
The collection celebrates the longstanding partnership of these two British heritage icons, and includes an exclusive commemorative logo combining the Hawes & Curtis lion emblem with the renowned Lord’s Father Time weathervane – a symbol of the treasured gift given to MCC in 1926 by Sir Herbert Baker, architect of the second Lord’s Grand stand.
The 16-piece collection, which is available online now, includes spectator essentials and fine style choices for every cricket fan, from expertly crafted shirts and blazers to knitwear and polos for men, and a luxury limited-edition pussybow blouse for women.
Each piece in the collection has been delicately embroidered with the exclusive commemorative logo.
Andy Muddleton, MCC Commercial Director said:”We’re delighted to take our partnership with Hawes & Curtis one step further by creating this unique clothing collection, designed for those who are passionate about both cricket and fine clothing.
“The insignia perfectly combines the Hawes & Curtis logo with cricket bats and balls and the iconic symbol of MCC and Lord’s – Father Time.”
Hawes & Curtis became MCC’s Official Formalwear Supplier in January 2022. Since partnering in January 2022, MCC and Hawes & Curtis have collaborated to produce an official style guide.
