The Melbourne Renegades are pleased to launch a new fan platform, Renegades Connect, ahead of the upcoming Big Bash season.

Renegades Connect is a free web-app designed to help Renegades fans engage with their club in a digital environment.

The app hosts activities including predictor games, trivia, polls and challenges, where fans can test their Renegades knowledge and compete against other fans.

Fans can earn ‘tokens’ and ‘kudos points’ by completing activities, which can then be redeemed for prizes within the app.

The app will run throughout the year, and there are rewards for attending matches and participating in other club activities.

The first 100 people to sign up will be rewarded with bonus ‘tokens’ and ‘kudos points’ when they register.

An overall leaderboard will keep track of those with the most ‘kudos points’, with the top three at the end of the BBL season to win signed merchandise.

The app is live now, with activities ready to participate in ahead of the team’s first game of BBL|12 on Thursday night against the Brisbane Heat.

Renegades Connect was designed to help the club better understand and engage with its members and fans, and to identify the best way to interact with people and reward them for their loyalty and support.

The app was created by SparkUp Studios, the winner of the Pitch to the Renegades project held in partnership with the Australian Sports Technology Network earlier this year.
