The Melbourne Renegades are excited to welcome DXC Technology to the team, as the club’s official partner for the CDU Top End T20 Series in Darwin for 2022.

The DXC logo will appear on the playing uniforms of the Renegades Academy team competing in the tournament, plus content across the Melbourne Renegades’ social media platforms.

DXC will extend their long-term partnership with NT Cricket to also partner with the Melbourne Stars throughout the tournament, highlighting their dedication to the development of the game and cricket in the Northern Territory.

Five teams will compete in the tournament, with the Renegades Academy to play against the Stars Academy, Northern Territory, Papua New Guinea and Cricket Australia XI.

The top two teams will play off in a Final on Sunday 21 August.

DXC is a Fortune 500 IT services leader with more than 130,000 employees in 70 countries, including Australia. The world’s largest companies and public sector organisations trust DXC to deploy services to drive new levels of performance, competitiveness, and customer experience across their IT estates.

Seelan Nayagam, President of DXC Technology Asia Pacific, said:

“DXC remains committed to helping businesses in the Territory realise the full potential of technology, so we’re delighted to be working with the Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars and NT Cricket who share our vision of growth and inclusion. Our aim is to encourage greater indigenous participation, drive the development of innovation and skills, and help communities build new talent pathways.”

Melbourne Renegades General Manager, James Rosengarten, said:

“We’re excited to be part of the Top End T20 Series in Darwin and pleased to have DXC Technology partnering with our club. This tournament is a great initiative which provides added opportunities for our emerging talent and having the support of a globally renowned company such as DXC is fantastic. We look forward to this being a strong partnership for both of us.”

Matches will be broadcast via the MyCricket Facebook Page and the NT Cricket YouTube channel.

The Renegades have made two changes to their original squad, with quicks Chris Tremain and Zak Evans ruled out due to injury. Fast bowler Will Crook, who plays in the Queensland Premier Cricket competition with University of Queensland, has been added to the group.
