The Melbourne Renegades family day will return on December 5 at Chirnside Park in Werribee.
After a difficult 18 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Renegades are excited to get back amongst their fan base to hopefully celebrate a successful WBBL campaign and look ahead to a massive BBL|11 under new captain Nic Maddinson.
Fans young and old can join BBL and WBBL stars, as well as honing their own cricket skills under the watchful eye of some of the game’s biggest names.
Younger fans will also get the chance to meet Gades mascots Willow and Sledge and of course enjoy some fantastic giveaways.
Renegades General Manager James Rosengarten says it means a lot to be able to engage with the cricket loving community again.
“To be able to see and talk directly to our fans and share in our love of the game again is something really special.” Rosengarten said.
“The last year or so has been really tough for a lot of people and days like this mark a real opportunity for us to give back and say thank you for the support you’ve given us.

“Our WBBL girls are having a wonderful season, and the boys are excited about what’s ahead so there is a lot to celebrate and so much to look forward too.”
The day will kick off at 12:30pm and run through until 4.00pm and it comes two days before the Renegades BBL|11 season opener on Tuesday December 7 against the Adelaide Strikers at Marvel Stadium.
The Family Day will also see some great activations from Renegades partners with food and drink offerings available, games, activities and prizes.
For Renegades fans interested in attending, you can pre-register your interest here.
It is important to note that pre-registering is not mandatory for event attendance, however, it will put you into the draw to win some fantastic prizes on the day.
The Renegades would like to extend thanks to the City of Wyndham for helping to make the day possible.
