All-rounder Harmanpreet Kaur has capped off a magnificent debut season with the Melbourne Renegades by being named the team’s WBBL Player of the Season.

Kaur, who had already named the WBBL’s overall Player of the Tournament, was adjudged the Renegades’ best player by a member vote.

The 33-year-old made an incredible impact with bat and ball in WBBL|07.

Kaur, India’s T20I captain, smashed 406 runs across her 13 matches for the Renegades at average of 58 and a strike rate of 130.9.

She was the team’s leading run scorer and leading wicket taker, also claiming 15 wickets with her off-spin at an average of 20.8.

Kaur’s highlights included a number of match-winning performances and three half-centuries, with a top score of 81 not out against the Sydney Thunder.

Perhaps the most memorable of those efforts was Kaur’s contribution with the bat against the Adelaide Strikers in Perth.

Kaur scored an incredible 73 not out off just 46 deliveries to help chase down the Strikers’ total of 160 in the final over.
