Melbourne Renegades are an Australian professional men's Twenty20 franchise cricket club based in Melbourne, Australia. They compete in the Australian Twenty20 cricket competition, the Big Bash League.

The Melbourne Renegades will open the WBBL|06 season against rivals the Melbourne Stars after Cricket Australia released its revised WBBL|06 fixture.

The season will be played entirely in Sydney with players to be based in a Village at Sydney Olympic Park.

The Village, created with the support of rebel, the Sydney Olympic Park Authority, Accor Hotels and Cricket NSW will see the League given exclusive use of multiple hotels, high performance facilities, dining venues and more.

The Renegades first match will take place on Sunday October 25. The last of the club’s 14 home and away matches will take place on Sunday November 22.

Five of the club’s matches will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Cricket.
