The Melbourne Renegades have welcomed Tyrepower to the team as their new BBL premier partner for BBL|11.

The Tyrepower Group was formed in 1977 by ten independent tyre retailers.

It was founded to offer consumers flexibility, savings and value of an independent dealer network and has grown to be the largest independent tyre retailer in Australasia, with over 290 stores.

As part of the partnership, Tyrepower will feature on the helmet, cap and pants of the BBL playing uniforms and feature across stadium activations throughout the BBL|11 season.

It will be Tyrepower’s first appearance in the Big Bash.

Tyrepower General Manager, Richard Ellery, said:

“We are excited to be partnering with such a dynamic organisation in the Renegades,” Mr Ellery said.

“Our network of family owned and operated stores engage at all levels within their local communities. Cricket is an amazing community connector, and we are proud to be partnering with the Renegades to help promote our involvement at all levels of the game.”

Melbourne Renegades General Manager, James Rosengarten, said.

“We’re excited to welcome Tyrepower to our team for the upcoming Big Bash season,” Mr Rosengarten said.

“With a strong presence in Victoria and beyond, plus a focus on providing great customer service and value, there’s a strong alignment between Tyrepower’s mission and our own. “We’re grateful for the support of Tyrepower and all of our partners, as we embark on what promises to be an entertaining BBL|11 campaign.”
