It was a battle of Stars superstars as Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis faced off in the IPL last week. Maxwell’s RCB hosted the Lucknow Super Giants.

. Maxwell stunned with the bat, smashing 59 from just 29 deliveries as RCB posted 2/212 from their 20 overs.

Stoin was just as powerful in reply, making 65 from just 30, as the Super Giants chased down the mammoth total off the final delivery.

It leaves Lucknow in 2nd spot on the table while RCB sit 7th, with just one game separating the teams in a tight competition.

Stars number 3 draft pick Trent Boult continued his good form with the ball, taking 3/29 and sitting inside the league’s top 10 wicket takers this season.

Lauren Winfield-Hill led her side, the Barmy Army Women all the way to the semi final and eventual third place in the FairBreak Invitational Tournament staged in Hong Kong, highlighted by an amazing 120* early in the tournament.
