Glenn Maxwell made his return to T20 cricket in the IPL overnight, with his team, the Royal Challengers Bangalore winning by 8 wickets with 22 balls to spare.

In typical Maxi fashion, he helped RCB finish the game, with 12 not out off 3 balls, including 2 massive sixes.

Marcus Stoinis’ Lucknow Super Giants got off to the best possible start with a 50 run win over the Delhi Capitals on Saturday night.

On Wednesday, the Australia and Australia A Squads were announced for the women’s Ashes. Meg Lanning will captain the women’s side in the multi format series, joined by fellow Stars Kim Garth and Annabel SutherlandNicole Faltum and Tess Flintoff were named in the Australia A squad which will also tour England.
