From the inaugural MLC draft to the WPL in India, plenty of Stars have been performing on the world stage this week.

The WPL finals are looming with Meg Lanning’s Delhi Capitals currently sitting in second spot. Meg, who recently signed a new 3 year deal, has been in sparkling form in the competition and sitting second on the leading run scorers. Annabel Sutherland and Kim Garth will be hoping that Gujarat Giants can make up some ground to make the finals.

Melbourne Stars Captain Glenn Maxwell made his return to the Australian side last Friday, making his first appearance for tha national side since breaking his leg in November. Marcus Stoinis is also a part of the Australian side that will play a deciding 3rd and final ODI against India on Wednesday.

Marcus Stoinis has also signed for the San Francisco Unicorns who will compete in the first ever edition of Major League Cricket in the USA in July. The new team also drafted Stars quick, Brody Couch, who was picked up in the inaugural domestic players draft, which Couch was eligible for because of his mother’s background.

There were some familiar names in the exhibition games held in the Pakistan Super League, including Tess Flintoff and Lauren Winfield-Hill.

Stars batter Campbell Kellaway has been rewarded for his strong season with Victoria with selection in the Australia A squad that will take on New Zealand.

Beau Webster, coming off a very solid season for the Stars, made his first Sheffield Shield century of the season, with an incredible knock of 168 not out against Queensland.
