A number of Melbourne Stars are currently in the UK ahead of the Women’s Ashes which begins on 2nd July. 

Annabel Sutherland, Kim Garth and Tess Flintoff were part of the Australian side that played out a draw against England A. 

Sutherland starred with the bat, making 116 from 138 deliveries in the second innings, whilst Garth dismissed the top 3 batters for England and was the standout bowler for Australia taking 4-69. 

England batter and former Star Lauren Winfield-Hill made a century for the home side. 

WBBL|08 Captain Nicole Faltum was part of the Australia A side that played out a draw against an English side featuring Alice Capsey and Nat Sciver-Brunt. 

Glenn Maxwell has commenced his stint with Birmingham, taking a couple of wickets against Worcestershire in their 21 run win. Maxi is back in action this Wednesday in the T20 Blast.
