Pakistan all-rounder, Imad Wasim has signed for the Stars for KFC BBL|13.

Imad, who recently retired from international cricket will be available after Christmas for the remainder of the tournament.

Having played 121 T20 and ODI matches for Pakistan, Imad will bring a huge amount of experience as well as handy lower order batting to complement his left arm orthodox bowling.

“With Liam available for the first three matches, we identified Imad as a player who could come in and perform a role for us with his left arm spin and lengthen our batting lineup,” said Melbourne Stars General Manager Blair Crouch.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing lots of Pakistan fans in the crowd at the MCG with Imad joining his former national teammates, Usama Mir and Haris Rauf.”

The Stars have one domestic list spot remaining for BBL|13.
