There will be plenty of Aussie interest in a few of the biggest Stars in the IPL over the next 7 weeks.

Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis have landed in India and will suit up for RCB and Lucknow respectively.

Current Stars in the IPL

Glenn Maxwell (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

Maxwell returns for another IPL campaign as one of the best performed Australians of all time. He has enjoyed a stellar 12 months and now holds the world record for the most international T20 centuries (5). RCB finished 6th last year and will be hoping to propel themselves into the final. Along with Australia’s Cameron Green, Maxwell shares the dressing room with the likes of Virat Kohli and Faf Du Plessis. Incredibly, Maxwell’s strike rate last IPL was over 183.

Marcus Stoinis (Lucknow Super Giants)

Stoinis’ Lucknow made the IPL finals last year and will be hoping to go a little deeper this May. Stoinis made 3 half centuries last IPL with a strike rate of over 150, batting through the middle order. His bowling was also used frequently throughout.

Past Stars in the IPL

Nicholas Pooran (Lucknow)

Trent Boult (Rajasthan Royals)
