The Melbourne Stars are pleased to announce a new premier partnership with globally-recognised access and security company Yale.

Yale is a part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, a global leader in door opening solutions, dedicated to satisfying end-user needs for security, safety and convenience. ASSA ABLOY is represented in all major regions, on both mature and emerging markets, with leading positions in much of Europe and North America and in Australia.

In the rapidly growing electromechanical security sector, the Group has a leading position in fields such as access control, identification technology, automatic doors and hotel security.

The new premier partnership will see the Yale brand present on all Stars player helmets, caps and pants, along with media backdrops and digital integrations for the WBBL campaign.

Michael Avis, General Manager of ASSA ABLOY (Yale) said he was looking forward to generating brand awareness and exposure through the vehicle of professional sport.

“ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Australia (Yale) are excited to announce their partnership with the Melbourne Stars in WBBL|06. As we reflect on the year 2020, it has been one of many challenges. However, we look forward to brighter futures and by supporting our national rising stars in women’s cricket, it will be met with pride and excitement.”

“As a globally-recognised access and security company, ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Australia (Yale) look forward to exposing the brand further among the sporting industry.” Avis said.

Melbourne Stars General Manager Nick Cummins said the club was delighted to begin a new premier partnership with Yale.

“With more broadcast matches than ever before, women’s cricket and the WBBL is in a fantastic position to connect with families and viewers around the country. There is natural synergy in Yale’s rich history and commitment to innovation and that of cricket and the competition that is the Big Bash.

“The signing of Yale is a great outcome for our club and we look forward to entrenching the Yale brand into the hearts and minds of our fans for many years to come. We recognise the challenges the current economic climate has provided businesses and we thank Yale for their commitment and support,” Cummins said.
