  • Best domestic XI selected by PCA MVP Rankings
  • Kathryn Bryce captains 2024 Metro Bank PCA Women’s Team of the Year
  • Two players return to side from 2023 team
  • Members of the team will receive a medal at the cinch PCA Awards on Tuesday 1 October

The 2024 Metro Bank PCA Women’s Team of the Year has been selected by the PCA Most Valuable Player Rankings, to create the best statistical XI from this season’s domestic women’s cricket.

Kathryn Bryce captains the side following a fabulous season which saw her lift the Charlotte Edwards Cup with The Blaze, alongside a pair of individual accolades, winning both the Charlotte Edwards Cup Player of the Year and the PCA Women’s Domestic Overall MVP. Bryce is also nominated for the cinch PCA Women’s Player of the Year award.

Two players return to the side selected in 2023 with Paige Scholfield moving up the order from seven to four thanks to her outstanding form with the bat this season and Linsey Smith also maintaining a place thanks to her left-arm spin bowling.

With the Women’s Overall Domestic MVP selecting a well-balanced side, MVP points across the Charlotte Edwards Cup, Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and The Hundred are all taken into account. A number of highly-ranked players missed out, including Northern Diamonds’ Hollie Armitage and Southern Vipers’ Georgia Adams due to the strength of other top order batters and spin bowling all-rounders.

The cinch PCA Awards takes place at The Troxy on Tuesday 1 October where the best performing players in domestic and international cricket in England and Wales will be recognised.

All players selected in the 2024 Metro Bank PCA Women’s Team of the Year will receive a personalised winners medal from Mappin & Webb.
