Echo Namibia and Metro Namibia sponsorship Announcement

Cricket Namibia has been a vehicle for corporate companies to expand their brands and today, we are delighted to announce Metro Namibia and Echo Namibia as official Cricket Namibia sponsors. One of Cricket Namibia’s mission statements includes serving our stakeholders and retaining partnerships – we are proud to extend our Cricket Corporate Community with the two partnerships.

Metro Namibia Marketing Manager, Corlia van Tonder: “We as Metro Namibia are proud to be part of Namibia and its people. With that, there always comes a certain responsibility to assist where we can and play our part. The Eagles have gone from strength to strength and it is our duty to assist and aid this team to keep the Namibian Flag flying high. Metro Namibia is a brand you can trust- and we place our Namibian Trust in the Eagles”

Echo Namibia Sales Executive, Rashaad Matjila: “When the sponsorship opportunity came up with Cricket Namibia, it was a no-brainer as we have aligned characteristics; determination, fighting spirit, good support structures, and fearlessly face competition. Echo Namibia is inspired by possibility; we orchestrate innovative ICT solutions centred around a constantly evolving digital services gateway”

Cricket Namibia CEO, Johan Muller: “Our broadcast partner, TV2 Namibia last year produced more than 50 matches and we broadcasted live games in Namibia on NBC, NTV, DSTV in Africa, Fancode in India, GeoTv in Pakistan, and on various social media platforms. We are not in a position to produce content if we do not have partners. Metro Namibia has been supporting us and our broadcast team to efficiently create content from the Metro van which has now become an ideal setup because of its mobility. To be able to internationally broadcast, we need WIFI, and Echo Namibia has come on board to sponsor all WIFI requirements for our international tournament productions. Cricket Namibia today acknowledges  Metro Namibia and Echo Namibia for supporting us.”
