The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has declined to accept the resignation of former Test cricketer Mohammad Yousuf, who recently stepped down from his role as batting coach.

According to Dunya News, sources claim Mohammad Yousuf had submitted his resignation from the role of batting coach a few days ago.

Despite this, the PCB has opted to retain him and is set to assign him new responsibilities within the organization.

Yousuf will reportedly be given the option to choose from two or three new roles presented to him.

Additionally, sources mentioned that the PCB is considering reaching out to another former cricketer, Abdul Razzaq, to offer him a new role in the future.

It is worth noting that Yousuf had also announced his resignation from his role as a selector for the national team a few days prior.
